      Payment & Enrollment

      Before students can access a Breakout Learning assignment, they may need to pay for enrollment, depending on the instructor’s course setup.

      Payment Scenarios

      1. Institution Pay

      • If the class is institution pay, students are automatically enrolled in all Breakout Learning assignments.

      • No payment is required, and students can proceed directly to the assignment launch step.

      2. Student Pay

      • If the class requires individual student payment, students will see a Purchase Tokens screen after navigating to the Breakout Learning assignment (see section 3).image (19)

      • Clicking "Pay with Stripe" opens a Stripe payment modal inside Breakout Learning, where students can purchase the required number of tokens for an assignment.

        • If Section Pay is enabled, students will be able to pay for all the assignments in the course in one payment.image (20)

      • After payment, students will be able to access the Breakout Learning assignment.

      🚨 Important Notes:

      • If payment fails, the student will not be enrolled in the assignment.
      • If a student already paid but does not see the assignment, they should check with their instructor or Breakout Learning support.
