If the organization requires administrative approval for Institutional Pay, instructors will be prompted to submit an invoice request the first time they create a Breakout Learning assignment in a Canvas course.
Steps for Requesting Class Invoicing:

Create a Breakout Learning assignment in Canvas (see section 3).

After saving and publishing the assignment, the invoice request form will appear with fields for course-specific details.

Click "Submit Request" to send the invoice request to the organization's admin for approval.

The Class Pending screen will appear, displaying submitted request details and approval status.

Once the admin approves the request, the assignment configurations can be confirmed to complete the publishing process.

The Assignment Configuration Page is always accessible by clicking on the assignment from the Assignments section in Canvas.
