      Create an Account

      1. Update your Browser settings: Our software is current accessible through Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari browsers. Please ensure your browser it updated to the latest version to ensure compatibility.
        - Update Microsoft Edge
        - Update Safari
        - Update Google Chrome
      2. Click the invite link: Click your invitation link: Follow the link provided to you by your instructor to join your class.
      3. Create your account: You should create an account using your institutional email address, using single sign-on with Google or Outlook (Microsoft). If your institution uses Gmail click “Google” If your institution uses Outlook, click “Microsoft.”
      4. Allow camera and microphone: Breakout is a discussion-based software that will require you to enable your camera and microphone for group discussions. Allow your browser and Breakout to use your camera and microphone. These can be reconfigured in the settings at any time.


      5. Access your class: Once your account is created, you will view your assignment page with all of your experiences assigned by your professor. You will see your course, experience title, assignment due date, and session date (if scheduled). You may need to refresh your browser or re-click your invitation link in order to find your experience.
